Toei (Angel's Trumpet) | Flower Essence

This beautiful flowering plant feels ancient and mystical, one that I wouldn’t recommend ingestion although they’re incorporated into medicine brews (i.e. ayahuasca). Being with them feels expansive, mystical, and interstellar. I feel their energy lends us to dive deeper within ourselves for envisioning, re-imagining, and co-creating a wider perspective. As I sit with them, their sweet intoxicating smell softens the illusion/portals between this realm and the unseen, therefore I find them to be a medicine of “seeing” for deep awakening, transformation, and expansion. When I think of expansion, it’s more than personal growth, but also how to re-envision new paradigms we have outgrown. 

Toei, Brugmansia, also known as Angel’s Trumpet is an ally for those working through repressed memories/emotions, cultivating intuition, cultivating unconditional love for all kin, and deepening dream work. As well as for those with excess wind in the body that feels stuck and may manifest as anxiety ~ teaching us about fluidity. Their fluid nature also helpful transitions, helping us to adapt with more ease & calming the nervous system.

If one is feeling stuck, emotionally/energetically, working with Toei / Angel’s Trumpet (remember, to meet them at least halfway, the rest of the work comes from us) guides us into the depths of our inner world to feel more fluid, opening doors within our sacred garden, and offering us a deep sense of spiritual connection.

This essence was made at dusk and with the moonlight, prayed with and sung with. Cedar smoke blessing the process. At night, this plant is visited by many nocturnal pollinators (i.e. moths) and is enjoyed by hummingbirds during day time. This ancestral plant kin is worked with throughout Central & South Americas.
