Cottonwood Rose Lotion Bar

For those who enjoy crafting a ritual to care for the skin, especially for hydration, these lotion bars (or body butter bars) are crafted with the prayer for reclaiming healing to the waters that connect & sustain us all. Cottonwood is a water protector and guardian, helpful for cleansing and moving impurities & blocked pathways. Their resinous buds are potent, to be gathered with humility and gratitude after a good windstorm. They soothe and nourish chapped skin, and sore muscles, and offer warmth to achy/stagnant areas. When combined with rose, they help to re-integrate love and all the senses to receive and remember how to savor the spectrum of life with presence.

I like to reserve to work with beeswax for special and limited offerings. This gold-colored beeswax was sourced locally from a farmer and smelled so rich and creamy. There are so many mysteries and teachings from the bees as they work in the daylight and darkness.

Ingredients & love: Cottonwood bud infused in olive oil, Rose petals infused in olive oil, Shea butter, Mango butter, Local Beeswax, a touch of Bergamot Essential Oil, Vitamin E

A note in packaging: some will be wrapped in a 2 oz reusable tin, and others will be wrapped in a cloth drawstring bag.
